Jay Tobias “Toby” Miller, 68, of Vermilion, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Born December 23, 1956, in Lorain, Toby was a lifelong resident of the Vermilion area. He worked for more than 20 years as a truck driver and mechanic with E&L Transport.
Toby had a talent for working with his hands and enjoyed spending time in the garage fixing cars. He also loved shooting pool and had a knack for turning roadside finds into unique treasures.
He is survived by his children, Justin (Aimee) Miller of Amherst, Molly Miller of Vermilion, Megan (Rob) Widener of Amherst and Taylor (Justin) Romantic of Amherst; his cherished grandchildren, Jade, Bailey, Jace, Julia, Jude, Roslyn, Kendra, and Carter; great granddson, Remy; sister, Lynn Honeberger; and his brothers, Scott Kyser and Rick Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Miller and Aileen (née Myrtle) Kyser and his sister, Peggy Spencer.
