I first met Jay when we were about 5 years old. I have so many memories of our friendship and life together to mention them all. When his brother Steve Myers told me of Jay's passing. It was hard to take. I still think about him at times and I miss him. RIP buddy.

Part3
Gary Gollub--He was an all out charger kind of
guy, carefree and foot to the floor!
Kenny Hammond--Jay Myers was one Tuff
Customer on and off the Track. Fierce!!
Competitive
Steve Eckert---Jay Myers pretty much owned
Port Royal before I saw him race as a little kid
at Reading Fairgrounds, which did not go
unnoticed by my historian father and budding
historian brother. My dad said "Keep an eye on
Jay Myers. He knows how to win. When I saw
him take a victory at Reading, that was all it
took to confirm that my dad knew what he was
talking about (again). The man won at The Port,
both Groves, Susky, Lincoln, even Flemington,
in the 70s, an era of all-time greats that he
competed against and beat at times. More than
"at times" at Port Royal. An always-fierce
competitor
Rusty Pressley--He was a little before my time!
But what I do remember was that he was a
gasser!! And he had a great personality!
Tom Allen--Jay was a hard charger. He knew
how to have fun...life around him was always a
party!!
Dan DeMarco-- "Jay was one of my favorite
drivers of that era! I always felt Jay was a little
underrated? That guy could race with and beat
anyone! And he was a threat to win on any track
every time out! He was that rare combination of
smooth and consistent? While at the same time
being fast and exciting! And to top it off?! He
was an absolute riot to hang out with! A laugh a
minute! There was never a dull moment when
Jay was around?! I miss him very much. Both
as a competitor and a friend."

Final Part
Alan Sagi--I always liked Jay and know that my
Father did too. Heck, my Father liked everyone
around a race track! I got to know Jay when I
was a teenager and he always spoke to me and
treated me well. Later on when I started driving
myself, he always encouraged me and seemed
genuinely interested in what I was doing. After
Jay retired from driving, him and his buddy
Randy Ruth would attend many races together
as spectators. I always enjoyed seeing and
talking to those guys at the tracks, they were
both a lot of fun, especially together.
Matt Wentz- Very talented
Anthony R De Seta--Hard charging, exciting
driver
