Jay Hartzell Reece, age 93 of Pittsburgh, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Beloved Husband of 69 years to Mary J. (Zelkovic) Reece. Loving Father of Alan Jay (Karen) Reece, Jeffrey Hartzell (Ann) Reece and the late infant Jay Alan Reece. Cherished Poppi of Alexis Caroline Reece (Kris) Howard. Loving Great Poppi of Hadley Howard. Beloved Son of the late John and Dorothy (Wymard) Reece. Loving Brother of Don Reece and the late Estella Reece Lightell. Special Uncle of Dr. Audrey Zelkovic and Arlene (Barry) Sukolow. Also survived by Nieces, Nephews and Grand Nieces and Grand Nephews. Jay proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid sports fan and a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union.
