Jay Bee Waldren, 67, of Harrisburg passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at his apartment.

Born and raised in Clarksburg, WV, he carried the values of his hometown with him when he later made Harrisburg, Pa his home. His absence will be deeply felt by his family, friends, and all who crossed paths with him.

He was born October 27, 1958, in Clarksburg, WV to the late Fred Waldren and Noma (Bias) Wright. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather Dave Wright, brother Fay Simms, brother-in-law, Joe Myers, and nephew Christopher Simms.

He is survived by his son, Shane Hardcastle of Lemoyne; siblings, Norman Simms of Clarksburg, H. Allen Simms (Susan) of Etters, Debbie Mitchell (Mike) of Lenoir, NC, Donna Chipps (Mike) of Clarksburg, Kelly Myers of Clarksburg; and nephews and nieces, Sonjia Williams (Will), Aleashia Ramsey (Ricky), Tammy Simms, Nathan, Charles Simms, James Hurst, Brandon Chipps, Travis Simms, Casey Opperman (Matt), and Charlie Simms (Jessie); and several great nephews and great nieces.
