Jay Jay Wright, 54 of Clarksburg, MA died on Monday August 4, 2025 at his home, after an extensive battle with diabetes and kidney disease.

He was born in North Adams, MA on May 16, 1971, a son of Donna Marie (Devio) Giron and the late Warren Raymond "Cosmo" Wright. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Gustavo A. Giron Sr. Jay graduated from McCann Technical High School with the class of 1989.

He was last formally employed as a project manager for Orion Energy Systems. For the last few years, Jay honed his craft as an expert carpenter, completing many projects for area businesses, schools, friends and family.

Jay was known all around town for his smile, upbeat attitude and friendship. There was never a time that he wouldn't do all he could do for friends and family. His heart was a mile wide. His most treasured gifts were his children, who meant the world to him.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Gustavo A. Giron Sr. and Donna Giron of North Adams, MA; his longtime companion, Jessica Thayer and his three children, Jalena Ann Wright, Rhaya Marie Wright and Jayden Chance Wright.
