BARRE- Jaylin James Rollins "JJ", 16 of Barre Vt passed away on Friday February 28.2025 at his home. JJ was born on July 28, 2008, to Mindy Rollins in Randolph Vt. He attended Spaulding High School in Barre.
JJ was a boy who loved spending time with his family and close friends. He had the biggest impact in a short time. No matter the struggle, no matter the path he walked, nothing would break him or dim his ever-smiling face, always with a laugh. He loved all things big and small except for the newest spoilers to his favorite things. He loved Marvel and DC with passion. You could ask him anything and he would have the answer ready for you. Even in the hardest times he would always be the first to crack a joke. His hugs that cured it all that were wrong and his words were always from his heart. He had no evil bone in his body. He loved to write stories and share them with his family. A story left in limbo with unwritten words. An amazing big brother and a son that blessed his mom with having such a beautiful child. He will forever be missed and never forgotten. God takes the strongest and kindest to become a guardian angel. He was our world's greatest soldier and will continue to be our strongest.
Jaylin is survived by his mother Mindy Rollins and her fiancé Trevor Hood. Brothers Carter Rollins Premont and Davian Maxey-Rollins. Sister Lilly Raymond. Grandparents Laura Farrington, Kevin Farrington, Andy Rollins and Angie Ferris. Aunt, Tammy Dodge and Shannon Gifford. Uncles, Tony Rollins, James Badger, JJ, Christopher and Ryan Decoteau. Cousins, Alaina Dodge, Kai Eaborn, Kayleigha Dodge, James Badger Jr, Jamyson. Brooklyn and Kalob Rollins.
