Jaymin Dean McArthur, 20, of Houston Texas passed away on April 26, 2025.

Jaymin loved animals and everyone he came in contact with; despite his hardships, Jaymin always had a smile on his face and a contagious laugh. He loved to play video games with his brother and hang out with his sister any chance he was given. He loved to read, especially mystery books. Jaymin participated in the scouting program, and loved to go on camping trips with his family. His favorite flower was the Rose, and his favorite food was mom's chicken enchiladas. Jaymin had a creative imagination and always wanted to invent things, he would take apart guns just to see how they worked and then put it back
together. He loved beating his Dad in target shooting but was very gracious to his Dad when his dad would lose. He had a heart of gold, a brilliant mind, and was always looking for something to keep his hands and mind occupied. We are blessed to have him in our family and will love and miss him dearly. We are thankful for the knowledge that we will see him again and that "Families are forever".Jaymin would tell us, "No matter where we are close or apart, when we look at the moon, it will remind us of each other." Jaymin is survived by his parents David and Colleen; his siblings Melissa, Alisha, Stephanie, Kaisha (Jerod), Michael, Taylor, and Keanu. 4 nephews (Gage, JJ, Kysen, and Aiden) 4 nieces (Shaylee, Lyric, Brexlee, and Bailee) Grandmothers: Lynda McArthur and Ursula Smith. Jaymin was preceeded in death by his Grandfathers: Jay Smith and Dean McArthur
