Jayne Provenzano Obituary

Jayne E. Provenzano
"Loving Wife, Devoted Mother & Cherished Grandmother"
Jayne E. (Williston) Provenzano, 60, entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Phelps Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, New York.
Jayne's greatest pride and joy in life were her two daughters, Gabrielle Spalvieri of Monmouth County, NJ and Samantha Spalvieri of Simsbury, CT, and her two cherished grandchildren, Harper and Easton Rodriguez. She found immense happiness in her role as their mother and "YiaYia" filling their lives with love, laughter and unwavering support.
Born on April 14, 1965 in New Rochelle, NY, Jayne was the daughter of the late Jay Ellis and Barbara Ann (Kuhn) Williston. She attended local schools in New Rochelle before earning her Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from the University of Rochester. Jayne later completed her physician assistant studies at St. Barabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY, and went on to serve as the practice administrator for the Healthy Child in Darien, CT, where she was admired for her professionalism, warmth and compassion.
Jayne shared twelve wonderful years of marriage with her loving husband, Thomas V. Provenzano, with whom she built a life filled with laughter, companionship and devotion. Together they enjoyed their home in Sandy Hook, where Jayne could often be found tending to her flower gardens and assisting her husband as he cuts the lawn, while enjoying the outdoors and caring for their beloved dogs, Bella, Bianca, Bleu, Cali and Remi, each of whom held a very special place in her heart.
Jayne is also survived by her stepchildren, Joseph Michael Provenzano of Nashville, TN, and Madeline Gloria Provenzano of New Britain, CT, her sister, Cathy Fox of Glen Spey, NY, her sister-in-law, Lisa Varrone and her husband, John, of Woodbury, CT and their son, Lucas Varrone. She will also be deeply missed by her many dear friends who were fortunate to share in her kindness and generous spirit. Jayne's legacy lives on through her husband, daughters and grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched with her love and compassion.
Arrangements: All services for Jayne will be private. There will be no calling hours. Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 200 Benson Road, Middlebury has been entrusted with Jayne's care.

Jayne was such a bright light. Although we were school mates, we kept in touch through social media and she was always a positive, loving and friendly soul.

I will miss seeing her online. Sending love to her family and furbabies.
