Attached is one of the many, many trips we made to see the Bogans. In fact, any trip west of Detroit ALWAYS included a trip to see Tom and Jean, whether it was to have lunch or dinner, or often stay the night. The friendship the Bogans'/Wines'/Edoffs' is something to learn from; and it was one of many that Jean had. Having married into the Edoff side, I saw first hand how that friendship extended into the families. Jean was always interested to hear what was happening in our lives, there for an encouraging word, relate a story, or offer advice. Jean offered a few stories in some difficult times for me, one I had never heard and will treasure always. Jean is the God Mother to one of my children, that's how much we thought of Jean. We would hear many stories from Jean, but nothing brought more Joy to Jean's face than when she spoke of her Grandson Will. My family just arrived home from a trip to Nebraska, and while we had a great trip, it's the first trip that didn't include a stop to see Jean. I will miss that feeling knowing there will be a welcoming face and voice waiting in Chicago. There will always be something incomplete about these trips now. Many prayers for Jean and the Bogan family- the Morin's will be thinking of you. I find comfort in knowing that Jean has been re-united with many, many friends and family who love her dearly.

Thinking of you all. Your mom, Jean Bogan was one of a kind. A beautiful soul. I hope fond memories will soon fill the emptiness your heart feels.
