Jean Boucher Obituary

BRISTOL

Jean Guy Boucher, 84, of Bristol, beloved husband of Monique (Vallee) Boucher, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, surrounded by his family at Hartford Hospital. Jean was born on December 17, 1940, in Audet, Providence of Quebec, Canada, and was the son of the late Oliver and Georgiana (Lemieux) Boucher. Jean was a talented carpenter who retired from Carpenters Union after many years of service. After his retirement, you could find Jean playing golf at Westwood Golf Course in Farmington, or enjoying the outdoors fishing, hunting and working in his garden. However, it was caring for his pristine lawn that brought him the most joy. So much so, that his family had a running joke on how well he took care of it. Besides his wife of 60 years, Monique, Jean is survived by his two daughters, Guylaine Pelletier of Vero Beach, Fl and Nancy Pillarella of Barkhamsted and her partner Roland Langhof. He was a loving Papa to his 5 grandchildren, Melissa Muniz and her husband Antonio of Berlin, Nicholas Rouillard of Virginia Beach, VA, Zachary Pillarella and his girlfriend Kara Koczon of Barkhamsted, Mavric Pelletier and his girlfriend Sam Varenkamp of Coconut Creek, Fl and Rehanna Pelletier and her husband Wally Gomes of Wareham, MA. He also leaves behind his three great-grandchildren, Mateo Muniz, Ranger Pillarella and Miles Muniz and also by his brother, Yvan Boucher of Sherbrooke, Canada and by his two sisters, ngele Boucher and her husband Tim Bagley and Line Boucher both of Sherbrooke, Canada. Jean was predeceased by his beloved canine companion Daisy. All services for Jean will be private and there will be no calling hours. Please visit Jean's memorial page at www.FunkFuneralHome.com. Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, Ct. 06010 is honored to be assisting the family during this difficult time.
