Jean Carroll, born in Jersey City, NJ, on May 4, 1941, to parents Carl and Florence Carlson, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025.

Jean lived most of her life in Rockland County, NY. She graduated from Nyack High School and met Michael Reedy, and they married on April 8, 1961. They had three children: Terri, Michelle, and Tommy. Michelle passed away when she was in the first grade. Mike passed away two years later.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri, and her husband, Garry Coyle; her son, Tommy Reedy, and his wife, Megan; and her son, Charlie Carroll, and his wife, Jackie.

Jean adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Christopher Coyle and his wife, Katie Dizzine; Samantha Eastwick and her husband, Ian; Michael Coyle; Jim Reedy; Hope Carroll; Brady Carroll; Mike O'Reilly; Sara Noyce; and Casey O'Reilly and her great-grandchildren, Jack, Owen, Tommy, Oskar, and Aidan.
She leaves her sister, Clare Peluso, who lives in New Jersey with her children and grandchildren, her brother-in-law, Steve Reedy, and his wife, Sigl, and their children. She is predeceased by her brother Carl.

Jean felt truly blessed to have had all of her family in her life. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many.

She will be dearly missed, but we believe in our hearts that she is at peace and will be reunited with other loved ones who have passed.
