Jean Marie Chilton

Jean Marie Chilton, 78 years of age, of Florence, KY, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 1, 2023, surrounded by her family. Jean was born in Thayer, Missouri to the late Glen and Norma Jean Gladin. She is also preceded in death by her son, Stevie Chilton; granddaughter, Madison Chilton; and brother, Gary Gladin. Jean leaves behind her loving husband of 59 years, Steve Chilton; sons, Rob Chilton and Marc Chilton (Liza); and her beloved grandchildren, Ty Chilton, Maddie Chilton, Sarah Chilton, Lauren Chilton and Reece Chilton; and many nieces and nephews. Jean loved helping others and was a proud volunteer for the American Red Cross. She enjoyed gardening and travelling, and she especially loved to visit the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US Hwy 42, Florence, KY 41042. Graveside service and burial will follow at 2 PM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown, KY 41097.
