Jean Turner Davis, 78, of Blairsville, GA, passed away on May 19th, 2024. She was born on March 18th, 1946, in Morganton, GA, to the late Elmer and Vesta Turner.

She graduated from East Fannin School in 1964. Throughout her life, Jean dedicated herself to her career, working diligently until she was affected by Multiple Sclerosis for over 38 years.

She was described as a very private person who held strong Christian faith in the Baptist denomination. Throughout her life, Jean found solace and joy in her love for reading.

She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Vesta Turner; siblings Vera Mathis, Eula Chambers, and Loys Turner.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Thomas "Ed" Davis; brother Grady Turner; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, June 29th at 11:00 am at Cochran McDaniel Funeral Home of Blairsville. 41 Hunt Martin Street, Blairsville, GA 30512.

Special appreciation to her niece Susan Gibbs.

Jean will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May those who were touched by Jean's presence find comfort in the memories they shared with her.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to may make donations to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
