Sterling Heights - Jean W. DeHayes, age 93 of Sterling Heights, Michigan, (formerly of St. Clair Shores,MI) passed away on January 26, 2019. She was born on March 2, 1925, to Robert and Sarah McNeill. Jean was preceded in death by her three husbands Peter Nick, Edward Nikolics, and Kenneth DeHayes whom she was married to for 39 years. She is the loving mother of Pamela Brancaleone, Deb (Ken) Kraft, Kim (Mark Scholfield) DeHayes, Patrice (Clem) Chargot, and Janice (Jack) Pacente. Jean is the cherished grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Her loving personality will be missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday January 31, 2019, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081. Jean will lie in-state on Friday, February 1, 2019, beginning at 9:30 am, until time of Mass at 10:00 am, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 22412 Overlake Street, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48080. Entombment will take place following the Mass at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial tributes can be made to The Goodfellows.
