I knew Dr. Hibbert for over 20 years as the Administrator of the CRMC Grover Hermann Hospital Division from 1998 thru 2011. He was an excellent, dedicated, and caring Emergency Room physician who was beloved by both patients, and staff. He was widely recognized for providing ongoing highly compassionate and quality care to the patients within western Sullivan County. However, in my personal conversations with him, I found him to be a deeply caring, and sensitive individual with many ideals towards enhancing quality of life. He was a dedicated member of the medical team frequently providing care to the indigent population of impoverished Haiti. Dr. Hibbert's untimely passing will leave a gap in the western Sullivan County EMS system. I hope his wife and daughters will take solace in knowing how widely he was admired as both a caring physician and dedicated family man.

Sending deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Jean Hibbert. I was priviledged to know him well for the many years that I served on the Board of Community General Hospital now Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was so kind and generous to everyone whose life he touched in any way and was truly loved in the entire hospital and in Sullivan County. Such a huge loss for his dear family and friends and surely for medical community. With prayers and love, Joyce

Jean Francois Hibbert was a visionary for Haiti. He wanted to restore a vibrant agriculture to Haiti and to his part of Haiti, Les Cayes, by developing the biofuels industry to produce ethanol for fuel use--for clean cooking, for automobiles, motor bikes and for motors. This was a great vision of economic development for Haiti. He worked tirelessly for over a decade on this vision. Project Gaia is proud to have been a part of his vision. Jean, we will all miss you terribly and we will continue to work to fulfill your vision.

So many fun memories with JF and Jocelyn over our 30 year friendship. Whether in NY, Cayman, Malibu or Montreal, spending time together was always fun and full of laughter. I will miss his sense of humor and how much JF and Jocelyn lovingly teased each other. He was taken way too soon. My condolences to Jean Francois' family and especially to Jocelyn, Alexa, and Natalya. Much love, Beth
