Jean M. Greaney

Jean Marie Greaney, née Talbot, was born on January 3, 1937, in Amesbury, MA, and passed away on March 12, 2026, in Tampa, FL. She was the beloved mother of Jeanee Bourque and her partner Keith Bates, Robert Greaney, Jr., Ronald Greaney, Michael Greaney, and Christine Kohl with her partner Donna Tremblay. Jean was a proud grandmother to Adam Bourque, Debra Loranger and her husband Keith, Melanie Wilson and her husband Ryan, Matthew Greaney, Richard Greaney, Brittany Bergman and her husband Harris, Andrew Kohl and his wife Rachel, and Aysel Tremblay, as well as a cherished great-grandmother to fourteen great-grandchildren.

A graduate of Midlands Technical College, Jean spent her early years devoted to raising her family as a stay-at-home mother before working as a secretary for the City of Rochester, NH Planning Board.

Jean had a vibrant and creative spirit. She loved to sing, dance, and perform in plays, relished painting and expressing her artistic side, enjoyed gardening, and took joy in nurturing flowers. Her playful sense of fun and warm presence touched everyone around her.

Funeral Services will take place at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O' Lakes Blvd. Land O' Lakes, Fl. 34639 on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 starting at 10:00am. Committal services at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater, Fl. will take place at 1pm.
