Jean Moss Harrison, 85, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many went home to be with the lord on Thursday October 2, 2025. She was born May 10, 1940, in Alamance County and lived most of her life in Graham, NC. She is the daughter of the late John Theodore Moss and Nellie Mae Rudd Moss.
She is survived by her son Jimmy Lee Harrison Jr and his wife Pam, and her daughter Sheila Gail McDaniel and her husband Rodney.
She also has Four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as her sisters Nancy Baldwin (Kenneth), Annie Hayes (Bobby), and a brother, John E Moss (Joan).
Jean was a former employee of Cone Mills and a member of First Baptist Church in Graham. She enjoyed time outdoors, loved cooking, and was devoted to spending time with her children and grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held at 2pm Thursday October 9th, 2025, at Lowe Funeral Home in Burlington. Her burial will immediately follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12-1:45 pm on Thursday, prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home in Burlington.
