Jean Jacquart Obituary

Jean “Jack” Jacquart Jr., 71, joined our Heavenly Father on June 29, 2025 surrounded by his loving wife Nancy, son Robert, daughter Kate, daughter-in-law Carrie, son-in-law Anthony, sister Michele, brother-in-law Steve, grandsons Ryan and Riley, and granddaughter-in-law Kylie.

Jack was a loving husband, father and friend. True partners for nearly 50 years, Jack and Nancy were inseparable, doing everything together. From grocery shopping to vacations, if Jack was there Nancy was always next to him. They leaned on each other during the tough times and danced with each other during the good times. As a father and grandfather, Jack was always present, at every event you would find him in the stands cheering or on the sideline coaching. If you were in the ER he was always sitting next to you and letting you squeeze his hand because you hated getting a shot. As a friend when a project arose, something broke or advice was needed he was the person to call. Always willing to lend a helping hand, he enjoyed staying busy working on projects and everyone around him benefited, though it could get a little more expensive because “Jack’s Way” could come with a little extra costs and a lot of extra screws.

Besides his constant projects he loved the outdoors and enjoyed biking, hiking and camping. He was an avid biker and regularly ran circles around all of us who tried to keep up with him. He has also camped all across the Rocky Mountains and summited many 14’rs. Later in life he enjoyed RV’ing with Nancy, Michele and Steve. Jack enjoyed travel and especially the time spent on vacations with family and friends.

His love of music was passed on to his children but his talent found root in his grandsons who shared his love of the guitar. He spent many hours with them sharing and playing music.

He was a fixture in many lives with his wit and charisma captivating those around him. His dry sense of humor always brought a smile to those around him.

20 years ago Jack survived cancer and his family and friends will be forever grateful for the additional time with him.

He will forever live in our hearts. His love and wisdom will always be felt and remembered.
