Jean retired as a Daycare worker at ARMC in Burlington. She was a member of Hope Community Church where she attended with her twin sister, Joan.
She loved working in her yard, mowing grass, being outside and sunning on her deck. She was inseparable from her twin Joan. They spent many hours shopping together and lived together during the last several years.
Jean adored her husband, Boyd. She never really got over losing him in 2019 and missed him tremendously. They enjoyed many beach trips together to their condominium at Cherry Grove, SC.
Her grandkids were her true joy. She kept them, spoiled them and always had sweet treats ready to share.
Jean is survived by her children: Robert Neal Mann (Jan) and daughter, Laura Mann Walker; grandchildren: Robert Neal Mann, Jr., McKenzie Williamson Mann, Jarrod Redman Walker (Heidi), Mattie Anne Hinson (Wil), and Graham Lee Walker (Molly); and seven great grandchildren; and sister, Joan Neal Denny.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Mildred Brown Dabbs and Carlene Brown Smith.
The family would like to offer many thanks to her loving caregivers and AuthoraCare Collective.
