Jean Nagode Obituary

She was the oldest twin daughter born in Colorado Springs on August 24, 1931, to William Melton Conger and Addie Marie (Steppler) Conger, who preceded her in death.
She married Joseph Nagode in Colorado Springs in 1952. This union was blessed with 4 children.
She is survived by her sons, Matt of Colorado Springs, and Mark of California; her daughters, Cheryl of Virginia, and Luanne of California; and five grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband and seven siblings. She was a loving mother and grandmother and faced life with a sense of humor, patience, and kindness. She had several stories of how she and her siblings got along, laughed, and had survived the Great Depression. She was a working mom and had retired from Mountain Bell after 30 years of service.
She was well loved, and her memory lives in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be private, followed by a public graveside service on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs at 1:00 pm.
