Jean Scheer Obituary
Two Rivers - Jean I. Scheer, age 94, was called to her eternal home by her heavenly father early Tuesday morning, January 19, 2021.
Jean was born in Two Rivers on October 19, 1926 to Henry and Hattie (Koehler) Grade. She attended St. John's Lutheran Grade School, and graduated from Washington High School in 1944. On June 8, 1946, she married Harlan J. Scheer at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on September 4, 2005. Over the years, Jean worked as an Avon Representative and also as a waitress at the Two Rivers Elks Club. She was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Ladies of St. John's and the Ladies Sheepshead Group. She will be forever remembered as an excellent cook and baker.
Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Linda and David Warden of Two Rivers; two grandchildren: Dawn (Michael) LaFleur, and Brett Warden; and three great-grandsons: Joshua, Jacob and Zachary.
Private funeral services will be held for Jean at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. Rev. Stephen Kruschel will officiate at the service, with burial in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
