Wayne Paul Ruelle, age 74, of Manitowoc, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2, 2026, surrounded with love from his family.
Wayne was born May 13, 1951 to the late Robert and Dolores (Posvic) Ruelle. He was a 1969 graduate of Mishicot High School. He became a father in 1973 and had 4 children whom he loved very much. Wayne was a family man, who worked hard during the week and did family activities on weekends. He worked as a machinist for Paragon, Lube Devices, and Federal Mogul where he retired from. Wayne loved to take his family camping and fishing. He was an avid reader, Nascar, and Packers fan. He also enjoyed going to see school activities whether it was a musical his daughter was in or a pre-school program for one of his great grandchildren, he was always there. Later in life Wayne met Rosemary Dillon and they went on to have 27 wonderful years together. They did a lot of activities with both families, and Wayne was always available for everyone.
Wayne was a gentle soul, he loved unconditionally and always made sure his family came first. He enjoyed being a father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Survivors include his four children: Rebecca Ruelle (special friend Mark Kiley), Manitowoc, Robert Ruelle (Aimee), Forest Junction, Joseph Ruelle, Two Rivers, and Jon Ruelle (fiancée Saulius Valentinavicius), Chicago, Illinois; four grandchildren: Monica (Kyle) Eslinger, Forest Junction, Natasha (Greg) Grant, Neenah, Bobbie Jo Ruelle, Reedsville, and Mason Ruelle, Manitowoc; eight great-grandchildren: Emmett, Daphne, Wesley, Asher, Braxton, Collette, Darcie and Evie; three brothers: Harold (Kathy) Ruelle, Kenny Ruelle, and Daniel Ruelle; his girlfriend: Rosemary Dillon and her family; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; one aunt: Marion Hearley. He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Dolores Ruelle; his twin siblings: Gary Ruelle and Mary Gehrke; Debra Fencl (the mother of his children); one nephew: Jason Menebroker; and his dogs: Little Bear and Missy.
Wayne's family requests that you wear your favorite NFL team for your funeral attire preferably Packers, but any team will be great.
A service of comfort will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, 1420 22nd Street, Two Rivers. Rev. David Arndt will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens.
