John Ruelle Obituary
RUELLE, John Francis - Age 83, of Vestaburg formerly of Brighton, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025. A Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Brighton Hills Cemetery, Brighton, MI, with a luncheon immediately following. Those desiring may make contributions to the Disabled American Veterans.
John was born May 9, 1942 in Detroit, the son of Francis John and Jessie Bruce (Watson) Ruelle. He was a 1960 graduate of Brighton High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. John married Carol Ann Farr July 4, 1969 in Howell. He had resided in Vestaburg for the past 30 years coming from Brighton. John retired from Operators Local #324 as a Heavy Equipment Operator after 35 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are: his wife of 56 years, Carol; children, Terri (Mark) Sutfin, Jason (Tessa) Ruelle, Floyd (Mary) Kyser, Ida (Scott) Sage and Kevin Kyser; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Jessie Ruelle; and brother, Robert Ruelle. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
