Jean Trumpp Obituary
Mrs. Trumpp graduated from Bucknell University in 1944 and the Yale University School of Nursing in 1946. A registered nurse, she was employed as the Administrator of Infectious Disease Control at Runnells Specialized Hospital before retiring in 1993. Earlier, she had served in the Cadet Nurse Corp during World War II; as a nurse at VA Hospitals in Staten Island and Sampson, NY; and as a nurse and faculty member at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester.
She was a member of the Fanwood Presbyterian Church; the Fanwood-Scotch Plains College Club; and the Fanwood Jr. Woman's Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore F. Trumpp, Jr. and her daughter, Dr. Cynthia Trumpp McIntosh. She is survived by her two sons, Theodore F. Trumpp, III and his wife, Mandi, and David B. Trumpp; and by her four grandchildren, Emily (Chris), Rebecca (Ian), Zachary, and Victoria. In addition, she had four great grandchildren.
Interment will be at Randolph Center Cemetery in Randolph, VT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Yale School of Nursing.
