Walker, Jean M., age 88, of Nashville, TN died January 29, 2024. Jean was born in Nashville, TN and was the daughter of the late Virgil Smith and Sallie Hobbs. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tom Maynor, husband, Emmett Walker, and son, Ralph Walker. She was a loving Mom, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, an avid fan of the Lady Vols, and the best southern cook you could ever meet. She was the first female Certified Property Manager in the United States. She started and operated her own company, Jean Walker and Associates. She was also Past President of the Credit Women's Association.

She is survived by:
Children – John Craig (Mary Helen) Walker, Paul Robin Walker, Maryde (Cathy Brewer) Arnold, Jerre Thomas (Lynne) Maynor, and Sheila Lynn (David) Dea, and Daughter-in-law Kathy Walker (spouse of Ralph Walker)
Siblings – Peggy Smith, Sue Lavender, Alice McCay, Diane Buchanan, Eddie Smith, Steve Smith, and Ken Smith
10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2024 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Chris Vance officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 Thursday, February 1st and 10 a.m. until service time on Friday at Bond Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Salem Cemetery in Liberty, TN. Pallbearers will be Jerre Maynor, Jr., Jason Walker, Gavin Dea, David Dea, Jason Cary, and Eddie George. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Walker, Glynn Arnold, Eddie Smith, Ken Smith, Steve Smith, Matthew Curran, and Riley Akers.
