Jean Margaret (Langlois) Walsh, 88, of Hampstead, NH passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, with her devoted daughter-in-law, Andrea by her side. She was born on December 11, 1936, in Lynn Massachusetts, the daughter of Charles and Cecelia Langlois.

She was the wife of Edward (Ted) A. Walsh, Jr. They were married on March 7, 1960, in Lynn, Mass. Jean graduated high school from Beverly School of the Deaf in Beverly, Mass.

Jean was a homemaker, she also worked at Davco Shoe Co. in Haverhill, Mass until her retirement in 1988. Upon retirement, she and her husband Ted purchased a motor home and then began their second phase of life of travel. So, for the next 29 years they set off for new adventures that took them across the United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Europe. During the winter months they spent time in Benson, and Mesa AZ and then to Las Vegas, NV to celebrate her birthday.

Jean photographed and video filmed many of their favorite destinations.

In 2017, they returned to the area and made Emerson Village their permanent home. They made many life-long friends along the way, wherever they lived.

Jean enjoyed snowmobiling, driving her golf cart, ATV’s and taking trips to Pittsburg, NH in hopes to see moose. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always ready to have fun.

Jean spent endless hours in the Clubhouse at Emerson Village working on jigsaw puzzles. At home, she enjoyed word-search games, and adult coloring books. She enjoyed playing weekly card games with her friend, Janet Miner. She enjoyed it even more when she won and would happily announce her score!

She loved being outside working in her garden, mowing the lawn and even shoveling the snow.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jean was predeceased by her brother, Charles Langlois; and two sisters, June LaClair and Joan O’Brien.

Jean is survived by her three children, Paul and wife Andrea of Plaistow, NH, Kathy Emro and husband Wayne of Middleton, Mass, and son Edward III of Hampstead NH; four grandchildren, Jackalyn Nazzaro, Holly Emro, Matthew Walsh, and Jessica Walsh and her fiancéChris Vadeboncouer; and two great-grandchildren, Richard and Robert Nazzaro.

No formal services will be held at this time. She and Ted will be interned in the spring at the New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
