Jean Marie Weedman, age 73, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away, due to complications of Parkinson’s Disease, on September 3, 2025, while in hospice.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Blair Weedman of Hendersonville, Tennessee; parents, Hugh and Therese Higdon of Owensboro, Kentucky; and brother, Lynn Higdon.
Jeanie had a long career in healthcare administration and was a devoted follower of Christ, attending Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville.
She is survived by her daughters, Sara Weedman-White (Daniel) of Nashville, TN, Krista Sensing (Madison) of Kansas City, Kansas, Julia Clark (Mat) of Denver, Colorado, and her siblings Sharon McPherson and Brian Higdon. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren who loved their Grammy very much, Murphy Sensing, Emery Sensing, and Nash Clark.
A visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville, Tennessee on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 1:00pm - 3:30pm with the funeral mass beginning at 3:30pm. Jeanie will be interred next to her husband at Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, Kentucky on Saturday, September 6, at 11:00am.
