Jean Francois Zephirin was born on June 15, 1952, in L’Acul Du Nord, Haiti, to his late parents Boleau Zephirin and Selia Dubois. He was the youngest of his siblings.
Jean arrived in the U.S. on July 10, 1981, in search of better opportunities for a good life. He attended school to learn English and became fluent. Our dad was kind, courageous, and a wonderful father with a big heart for his family. He worked throughout his life and developed a passion for landscaping. Jean was always there to help those in need and never let his own struggles prevent him from lending a hand. He had a vision of owning his own landscaping business, which he realized while striving for greater success. He served the Broward and Palm Beach areas and found happiness in his work. Every day, he aimed to improve leaving a legacy for his children. Our dad loved Haitian music and food, and he enjoyed returning to his homeland to experience the atmosphere.
On Saturday, May 10, 2025, Jean Francois Zephirin entered into Paradise. We know that he is gone in the flesh, but he will always be in our hearts. His kindness can never be replaced.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: Wife: Nathalie Jean; Children: Rodney Appolon, Shirley Hernandez and Jeanty Appolon; Twelve Grandchildren: Renee Appolon, Isaiah Appolon, Jaylen Appolon, Ariyah Appolon Ahmir Appolon, Alana Appolon, Aneja Appolon, Adonis Appolon, Malakai Hernandez, Malaiyah Hernandez, Malaijah Hernandez and Aaden Brown; In-Laws: Matthew Hernandez, Linda Bernard, Odeline Appolon, Guerland Appolon and Rodena Augustin; along with a host of other relatives and friends who have been affected by this loss.
Rest In Peace Dad
