Jeana Meinen

Jeana Meinen, age 65, of Rosharon, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends. Jeana was born on August 1, 1959, in Savannah, Georgia, and was Christian by faith.
As the daughter of a U.S. veteran, Jeana spent her early years in Spain before the family settled in Kansas. Her career as an I.V.F. procedure nurse spanned over 30 years, and she took great pride in helping others build families.
Jeana's life was full of love, adventure, and joy. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren, riding motorcycles/ traveling with her husband, and gathering with loved ones. An enthusiast for karaoke with a gifted voice, she was known for her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter.
Jeana was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn (Larson) Crowell of Salina, Kansas, and Harvey Crowell of Arkansas.
She is survived by her husband of 45yrs, Gary Meinen; daughter, Erica Davison and husband Patrick of Alvin, Texas; son, Nathan Meinen and wife Mallory of Justin, Texas; brother, Perry Crowell of Salina, Kansas; and six beloved grandchildren: Dominick, Mason, Audrey, Austen, Amie, and A.J. She is also survived by countless other relatives and friends who will miss her.
Jeana had a love for bright, beautiful flower arrangements. If you wish to send flowers, they can be delivered to Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas. Alternatively, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Glioblastoma Cancer Foundation in her honor.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas, with a service beginning at 3:00 PM. There will be a celebration of life scheduled for a later date.
