Jeanene Wickham Cheney Minnoch, 79, passed away January 12, 2023. She was born on April 29, 1943, to Herman and Arta Wickham in Preston, Idaho. She has a brother and sister, Clynn Wickham and Clydene Randall.
On June 22, 1990, she married the love of her life, Floyd Minnoch.
She grew up in Ogden and graduated from Weber High School. She worked various jobs including Weber School District and Wonder Bread/Hostess Cakes.
Jeanene was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Minnoch, her siblings, her children; Terry (Warren) Smith, David (Anita) Beckstead, Jerry Cheney (Cindy Glisson), Michelle (Travis) Anderson; stepsons, Stephen (Andrea) Minnoch, Jeremy Minnoch, and Trent (Cathi) Minnoch. Her 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren who thought the world of her and called her by many nicknames including Grams, Grandma Bubblegum, Granny Bird, and Crazy Grandma. Also surviving is her lifelong friend, Marlene Stone, who became a sister to her.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 9:45-11 am at Leavitt’s Mortuary (836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah). Services will follow at 11 am in the chapel. Interment will be at the Hooper Cemetery.
