Brigitte, Kenny, Joe, and families.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom's death.

She was always special...she babysat my kids, particularly Andrew and Clare, for years. In fact, Jeanette was the only babysitter Clare ever had; Clare was there from the time she was couple of months old until she started kindergarten in 2005. And there was nothing in your family or my family that the other didn't know about! Such as the time Clare came home to report the color of underwear your mom was taking on her trip to Las Vegas...because Clare had helped her pack!

The time Andrew cracked his ear open on the edge of the coffee table just before I got there to pick him up. Your mom was so worried. We were headed to the pediatrician anyway for a regular check-up anyway...his ear got stitched up, and all was good.

Your mom was the one that contacted us about Matt's car wreck in front of the Hynek's on Walford Road (when he hit the deputy sheriff that was being stupid)...your mom heard it on the scanner, as your dad was a first responder.

So many good memories.

Dorothy Metz (Stephens) and Matt, Leah, Andrew, and Clare.
