Jeanette Caneega Obituary
Mrs. Caneega was born July 23, 1934, in Sandersville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Crawford Brantley and Vidella Peavey Brantley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Carl Caneega. She retired as a sewing machine operator for Apparelcraft. Mrs. Caneega passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Caneega is survived by her sons, Wayne (Debra) McCary of Wrightsville, Dawton McCary of East Dublin, Carl (Tracy) Caneega of Wrightsville, and Mark (Kim) Caneega of Wrightsville; 2 daughters, Sandra Wilkerson of Wrightsville and Patricia Alligood of Wrightsville; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason McCary, Chad McCary, Dan Alligood, Brad Caneega, Seth Sumner, and Cason Thigpen.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the funeral home.
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
