Jeanette was a cherished wife to Jon De Fore, sharing 57 years of a loving marriage. She was mother to Jozette Smith and John De Fore, and a mother-in-law to Brian Smith and Michelle De Fore. She was grandmother to Carter Smith, Natalie Smith, Madelyn De Fore, and Zach De Fore. Jeanette was also sister to Robert Donais. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lucille Donais.
Jeanette worked as a teacher's aide at Ocean Beach Elementary School and spent many years in admitting and medical records at Mercy Hospital in San Diego, St Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, and St Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction.
Jeanette was devout Catholic who embodied the values she believed in. Jeanette's hobbies included cooking, baking, and watching football and drag racing. Her love for the holidays brought her family together in celebration, creating cherished memories. Jeanette was caregiver for her whole family.
A burial service will be held for Jeanette on November 10th at 1 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum in San Diego, California.
Jeanette's life was a testament for her love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

I am going to miss my Mom so much. My Mom was such an important person in my life. She taught me hard work and being a caregiver. I have great memories of my Mom. We liked to have fun. I miss you Mom and I´m glad you are at peace now you deserve it. Love you Mom.
