JEANETTE MARY GUCKENBERGER, 82 of New Park, PA, died on Monday, January 29, 2024 in her home. Born on May 7, 1941 in Baltimore, MD, she was one of four daughters born to the late August John Zoltowski and Anna Agnes (Dvorak) Zoltowski.
A resident of New Park since 1987, Jeanette had worked for over 21 years as a vehicle operations associate for PHH Vehicle Management Services, retiring in 2008. Strong in her catholic faith, she was a member of St. Mary, Pylesville Catholic Parish where she had served as a cantor, a member of the choir and was active in church activities. Jeanette loved animals and enjoyed the time she volunteered at the Humane Society of Harford County.
She is survived by:
Two children-
Karl Erich Guckenberger and his wife, Patti of York, PA
Laura A. Guckenberger of Havre de Grace, MD
Three grandchildren-Alexander Guckenberger; Kayla and Zachary Warkmeister and a step-granddaughter, Harmony Anderson. Additionally, two great grandchildren: Leo and Lydia Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her sisters: Dorothy Friesner, Anne Cox and Evelyn Geppi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. in her parish, St. Mary, Pylesville, 1021 St. Mary's Road, Pylesville, MD. Parish Priest, Reverend John Rapisarda will be the celebrant. Inurnment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
Her family would prefer memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to one of the following:
