Obituary of Jeanne L. Alexander

Hilton - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeanne Leslie Alexander who passed away on August 18, 2025 at the age of 96. Jeanne was survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, David Alexander; her son, Keith (Kim) Alexander; her grandchildren, Spencer and Adelia Alexander; and her sister, Patricia Smith. Jeanne was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Helen Pardy; her sister, Adrienne Moser; and her son, Andrew Alexander.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force and a Registered Nurse, Jeanne devoted her life to serving others with compassion and strength. Her steady presence and caring nature brought comfort to countless lives, both in her professional calling and in her personal relationships. She was also a proud member of the American Legion Post 330 in Spencerport.

Jeanne's adventurous spirit was matched only by her deep love for her family. She met her husband, David, in Alaska-a place that sparked the beginning of a lifetime of journeys together. From traveling the entire canal system by boat, to roaming the open roads in their RV, Jeanne found joy in exploring the world both near and far. Her passion for travel knew no limits: She proudly visited all seven continents and all fifty states, collecting not just stamps in a passport, but treasured memories along the way. Jeanne also had a passion for growing flowers, of which, roses were her favorite.

Friends and family will forever cherish evenings spent sharing stories of her journeys, mornings filled with the fragrance of her roses, and the countless times she reminded us that life is meant to be lived fully and with an open heart.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at1:00 pm at Parma Union Cemetery, 260 Parma Center Road, Hilton, NY 14468, where family and friends will gather to honor Jeanne's remarkable journey.
