Jeanne Buoniconti Obituary

Jeanne Lucy Buoniconti
1945 - 2025
FEEDING HILLS
The family of Jeanne Lucy (Borgotti) Buoniconti surrounded her with their love as she passed away peacefully on August 7,2025 at her home. Born in Springfield to the late Angelo and Margaret (Izzo) Borgotti on December 13.1945 she was raised in Agawam graduating from Agawam High School class of 1963. She wed the love of her life, Frank Buoniconti and they settled in Agawam and welcomed their three children. Jeanne was a devoted mother to children and took great pride in creating a loving home where she showered her family with her affection and guidance. Her family was the center of her life, and she looked forward to every opportunity to be with them, especially poolside during the summer months. Jeanne was a woman true to her faith and was a member of the community of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills. She was a woman who had a loving heart and loyal spirit generously giving of herself to those she loved.
Surviving Jeanne is her devoted husband Frank and her beloved children, Frank Buoniconti and his wife Kelly of Canton CT, Tammy Buoniconti of Agawam and Bobby Buoniconti of Carolina Shores NC. To cherish her memory, she leaves her adored grandchildren, Kaitlin Hilt, Gianna Buoniconti, Nicholas Buoniconti, Kayleigh Buoniconti and one great grandchild, Raelynn Suarez. Sadly, she was predeceased by her parents and her sister Barbara Sosnowich and her husband William of Agawam.
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 14,2025 from 4-6 P.M. at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street. Family and friends will gather on Friday August 15,2025 for an 11 A.M. funeral home service to be followed by committal at Springfield Street Cemetery in Feeding Hills. Memorial donations in Jeanne's name may be made to Hospice of Western and Central MA.

We"ve enjoyed all the times we shared together at Myrtle Beach. We always looked forward to seeing you and Uncle Frankie. Your stuffed shells were the best! You always looked out for me when I was there without Tommy and I always appreciated that. Tommy remembers your exceptional wit and humor since he was a child, even the "fishy face." We will continue to pray for your soul and keep Uncle Frank and the rest of your family in our prayers. Rest in peace Auntie Jean. We love you.

If I close my eyes and think of Auntie Jeanne, I see her big smile, I can hear her voice drop an octave as she says something that´s sure to make me laugh, most of all, I see the sheer pride she has in her eyes whenever she tells me about her family...especially all of her grandchildren! Auntie Jeanne had a heart big enough to make all her family and friends feel so loved and cared for. I am lucky to have felt that love throughout my life. I will miss you very much xo

Some of my very best experiences in Myrtle Beach involved having the funnest times with Jeanne. There wasn´t a day that she didn´t make me laugh out loud, at one thing or another. Myrtle Beach will never be the same without her. I love you, Jeanne - Barbara

Jeanne was someone you enjoyed being with. She had a quick wit and was always making us laugh. The one night I'll always remember with Jeanne was when she taught us a card game in South Carolina Myrtle Beach. It was laughing all night because Jeanine was there. Rest in peace Jeanne And bring your sense humor when you meet with your angels

I will always cherish the wonderful memories on my aunt and Godmother. So many wonder Easter Sunday dinners, Sunday dinner's at Gramma´s , weekends at the Ottis house ,SC vacations.
You always made me feel better when things were hard. With a joke, quiet listening ear, or a just a hug- you made a difference.
I will know you are at peace with your love ones now. May you rest in the arms of God.
Denis will miss your chocolate cream pie. I will try my best to make in honor of you.

Our family has spent a lot of time these last few weeks sharing memories of Aunty Jean. There are so many wonderful times and so many laughs shared! To be fortunate enough to have grown up with all our families and cousins in the same town is a true gift that many families do not get to experience. So many holidays, birthdays celebrated, and dinners shared around a kitchen table with grandma and grandpa Buoniconti or in Myrtle Beach and so many funny stories told of our parents growing up. They have shared a lifetime together, what a gift.
We will miss our Aunty Jean, her warmth, her sense of humor, and her kindness.
Our love and prayers are with you all.
