Jeanne Louella Durborow

Jeanne Louella (Donbaugh) Durborow, age 94, of Camp Hill, died on Monday , May 26, 2025. Jeanne was born on Tuesday, August 5, 1930, in Camp Hill to the late Edward Franklin Donbaugh and Anna Louella (Wallace) Donbaugh. Jeanne was the widow of Richard Charles Durborow, whom she married on February 14, 1950, and who died on August 2, 2024. In addition to her parents and husband, Jeanne is preceded in death by her four sisters.

Jeanne’s survivors include her two children: Richard Durborow of Palmyra and Patricia Blaine and her husband, Jeffrey of Selinsgrove; her four grandchildren: Kelli, Kenneth, Karri, Scott; her five great-grandchildren; her brother, Barry Donbaugh and his wife, Genie of Douglasville, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Jeanne graduated from Lemoyne High School as part of the class of 1948. Jeanne was a lifelong member of Shiremanstown First Church of God, where she was involved in many activities including teaching Sunday school. She was a member of the PA Voters Hall of Fame.

Jeanne loved to host and cook for large family gatherings and picnics in the summer. She loved to work in her garden. Jeanne was a devout Christian and her faith was very important to her. She was fond of collecting frogs, as she was originally from Frogtown. She was proud that she had lived her entire life in the same house. Jeanne will be dearly missed by all those fortunate to have been in her life.

All are welcome to join Jeanne’s family at her visitation on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Shiremanstown First Church of God, 35 S Locust Street, Shiremanstown, PA 17011; with Deacon Frank Arva officiating. Burial will follow the service in Mt. Laurel Cemetery in Harrisburg.
