Nancy Ann Durborow

Durborow, Nancy Ann (nee: Scarber), age 74, of Hackettstown, on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Born in Paterson and raised in Hawthorne, Nancy had lived in Chelmsford, MA and Budd Lake, NJ before moving to Hackettstown. She worked as an accounts payable clerk for BASF in Hawthorne and Chelmsford for 27 years. She then worked at American Instants in Flanders, NJ. Nancy was a longtime member of the Hawthorne Caballeros Alumni Corps.
Nancy was the beloved wife of Robert Durborow. Loving sister of Kenneth Scarber and his wife Claudia of Mills River, NC, David Scarber of Westwood, Richard Scarber and his wife Lisa of Charlotte, NC and Kathy Natoli of Lake Hiawatha. Dear aunt of Michael Scarber and his wife Leigh, Lauren Scarber, Matthew Scarber and his wife Renee, Christine Natoli and Samantha Natoli. Dearest great-aunt of Luke, Kai and Savannah Rae and one on the way. Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Scarber.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 16, 2024 at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne. Cremation will be private. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hawthorne Caballeros Alumni Corps or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
