Jeanne-Louise Haviland

Jeanne-Louise Haviland, 99, of Rossmoor at Monroe Township, NJ, formerly of Princeton, NJ passed away on December 6, 2025.
She was born in NYC. She was a 1946 magna cum laude graduate in Economics from Vassar College (BA in Economics). J-L was a brilliant student with a photographic memory. She remained an avid reader and lover of word puzzles throughout her life.
Early in her life she traveled extensively around the globe (visiting France, England, Australia, New Zealand, Arizona, and California). She loved hiking at Mohonk, museums, opera, ballet. She also enjoyed watching tennis and her favorite baseball team the Giants.
J-L was a member and employee at Trinity Church in Princeton. She also worked for the Tax Institute of America of Princeton and Holt-Morgan-Russell Architects.
She is predeceased by her parents Frank Budd and Jennie Desdet Haviland and she is survived by friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts including the Smith family of Wykoff, NJ.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 11:00am in Woodlawn Cemetery, 4199 Webster Ave., Bronx, NY 10470
