Michael S. Haviland, 61, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Reading Hospital, West Reading, PA.
Born July 23, 1964, in Reading, Michael was the son of the late Donald Haviland and Kay J. (Reigle) Shunk.
Michael was a member of the Class of 1982 at Wilson High School. He went on to work as a truck driver for Waste Management for 25 years. Michael truly enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles.
Michael is survived by his sister, Kathleen M. (Haviland) Althouse, wife of Kenneth S. Althouse, Leesport, his aunt, Pat Sinistri, Wyomissing, his cousins, Sherry Fellin, widow of Gabriel Fellin, Temple, Ann Boyer, wife of Brian Boyer, Shoemakersville, and Roger Sinistri, fiancé' of Liz Hasty, Wyomissing, and by several great cousins.
In addition to his mother and father, Michael was preceded in death by his aunt, Carole Reigle.
Funeral Services for Michael will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 11:30 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
A viewing for Michael will be held on Monday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Michael's memory to the American Cancer Society at www.Cancer.org, or to the American Diabetes Association at P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
