JEANNE McLEAN EASTRIDGE, 95, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at her home in St. Peters, Missouri, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
She was born on September 6, 1930, in Chester, Illinois, to Carl and Jessie (née Reynolds) Parker. Jeanne’s life was truly blessed—filled with deep love, joyful laughter, and countless moments that will be remembered always.
She married Leo “Lippy” McLean on April 10, 1948 and together they shared a cherished chapter of her life before his passing. Her life was later blessed again through her marriage to Roscoe “Buck” Eastridge on June 4, 1988. Both husbands preceded her in death, and she carried the love of each relationship throughout her years.
Jeanne was a devoted and nurturing mother, grandmother, and matriarch whose kindness, generosity, and steady support shaped generations. Her three sons and grandchildren were the loves of her life. Her heart was as big as her smile, and she gave freely of both. Jeanne embraced life fully and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate to know her. She had a vibrant spirit, endless charm and an infectious joy that made life feel lighter for those around her. Known for her quick wit and impeccable sense of humor, she was funny, clever, with a slight spark of mischief that kept everyone smiling and on their toes (especially those who called her Zeeter).
She enjoyed a love of travel and delighted in seeing the world. An avid golfer and tennis player she cherished the challenge, the camaraderie, and the simple pleasure of the game. She found great joy in gardening, decorating and had an amazing sense of style. Jeanne loved a great game of cards and treasured the friendships formed with her “card club girls”. Jeanne loved hosting gatherings with friends and family. Classy and gracious, she knew how to throw a party and was typically the life of it. Her homemade pickles were legendary, her chicken and dumplings were pure comfort, and her fried fish and greasy eggs were family favorites. Meals in her home were more than just delicious—they were moments of togetherness, warmth, and tradition.
Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched and the love she leaves behind. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings; William Carl “Parky”, Jack, Jerry, and Bob Parker, her beloved husbands; and her three sons, Michael, Mark, and Gregory McLean.
She will remain forever in the hearts of her loving family, including her daughters-in-law, Maggie and Charlyn McLean and Michele (Robert) Balsat; her granddaughters, Amy McLean and Ashly (Cory) Siegfried; and her great-granddaughter, Emilia Siegfried. Her life was further blessed by the love of her nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of a visitation, it was Jeanne’s wish that friends and family gather for one last great party. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Chester Country Club following the funeral mass. We hope all will join us to share memories, laughter, and stories that honor the beautiful life she lived.
