Jeanne A. Phillips, 85, of Marinette passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 4, 1939, to the late Leo and Anne (Fenisyn) Luke in Menominee. She graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in 1957. On June 21, 1958, Jeanne married Vernon Phillips at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Marinette. She worked for The Red Owl in both Marinette and De Pere and over 30 years with the Stephenson National Bank & Trust. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, P.E.O., and various Bridge Clubs. She enjoyed entertaining and loved spending time with friends and family, especially the grandchildren.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 66 years, Vernon Phillips of Marinette; son, Michael (Cindi) Phillips of Iola, WI; daughter, Anne Phillips of Ashville, NC; daughter in law, Kellie (Dan) Beno of Suamico; grandchildren: Kirsten (David) Martin, Kyle Phillips, Brooke (Blake) Petrich, and Brandon Phillips; great grandchildren: Natalie Martin, Pierce Martin, Merritt Petrich and one more Martin on the way; brother, James Luke; sister, Joan Swan; brother in law, Merlin (Virginia) Phillips; sister in law, Patricia (James) Finger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Phillips; daughter, Jeanne Desiree Phillips; brother in law, Floyd Swan.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10th from 11am to 1pm. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm with Deacon Chuck Gervasio officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
