Jeanne Moore Sharp

Jeanne Moore Sharp, age 80, of Farragut, TN departed this life on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
She leaves her daughter, Robbin Paige Sharp of Maryville, TN; son, Jack Barry Sharp, II of Ocala, FL; and granddaughter, Kaitlyn McKenzie Keith of Ocala, FL. She also leaves many special cousins, neighbors, and friends.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jack B. Sharp; her parents, Kermit Moore of LaFollette, TN and Beulah Fox Moore Archer of Ocala, FL.
Jeanne was blessed by attending seven years of Bible Study Fellowship and acquaintance with teacher, Cindy Woodford, which had a profound effect on Jeanne's life and walk with Jesus.
Jeanne's life was filled with joy with each of her little shih tzu dogs, Gizzy Gizzy Gismo, Lucy's Tigger Pooh, and Sweet Gypsy Rose. Gypsy made the journey with Jeanne through three months of radiation treatments at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. Tigger Pooh placed third in a national pet photo contest and was pictured on his own Hallmark Card. Jeanne and Tigger volunteered for 5 years in the HABIT PROGRAM (Human and Animal Bonding in TN) visiting patients at Thompson Cancer Center and NHC in Farragut.
Jeanne grew up in LaFollette, TN and graduated in 1962. She attended the University of Tennessee where she majored in accounting. She taught accounting at Tennessee College of Automation and was a co-owner in an insurance agency and one of the original founders of Bargain Mart Classifieds from 1973-1997. She continued to manage the company two more years after it was sold to Target Medial Partners of California.
A service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Click Funeral Home, Farragut Chapel, 11915 Kingston Pike, Farragut, TN. Dr Jon Cormack will conduct the service.
