November 10, 1941 - December 25, 2025

Jeanne F. Wright, 84, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, December 25, 2025.

On November 10, 1941, Jeanne was born to Roger and Florence (Whitmore) Lindoo in Ladysmith, WI. She graduated from Chippewa Falls High School with the class of 1959. Jeanne then attended UW-Eau Claire, earning her Masters Degree in Education. She taught elementary school at Stillson, Korger-Chestnut and Parkview. Jeanne enjoyed numerous activities and was involved with many community groups, including the YMCA, Wissota Garden Club, church groups, book clubs, retired teacher coffee group, as well as several others. She enjoyed tending her flower gardens and being at the family cabin on the Flambeau River. Most of all she cherished her time with nature and her family. She especially enjoyed the birth of her great-grandson, Brooks.

Jeanne is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bob; daughter, Linda (Don Zans) Wright of Santa Clarita, CA; son, Steve (Penny) Wright of North Oaks, MN; grandchildren, Skye Zans, Mitchell (Marena) Wright and Carlye Wright (fiancé Josh Macho); great-grandchild, Brooks Wright; sister, Susan (Mike Wolesky) Lindoo; along with many other loving family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Peggy Lindoo.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 201 W. Central St., Chippewa Falls, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Pastor Eddie Crise will be officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date.

Jeanne was an amazing teacher and always treated new teachers with respect and friendship. She was a hero who took up tap dancing after retirement and always had a smile, a friendly word and true interest in others. She was a bright light and made a positive differance in the lives of all she knew. I'm glad our paths crossed. Sincere condolences to her family.

Jeanne had all three of the Sweeney children at Korger. She was smart, funny, kind, engaging, and sunshiny....all the good words in the dictionary. Our family was lucky to have had her in the lives of my children. Jeri (Sweeney) Lijewski

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Wright was my kindergarten teacher at Stillson school in 1971. I remember her fondly.
