Jeannette Arkadie, a beacon of love and generosity, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Born on January 1, 1968, Jeannette's life was a testament to her faith-filled spirit and her unwavering commitment to her family, friends, and community.

Jeannette was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mr. Kirk Otis Arkadie Sr. and Mary Arkadie, her brother Kirk Otis Arkadie Jr., her sister Curtis Marie Arkadie, and her brother Napoleon. Her memory will be forever held in the hearts of her surviving family members, including her sister Marilyn Arkadie, her aunts Ruth Minor, Allie Minor, and Vivian Minor, her daughter Crystal L. Arkadie, and her grandchildren Joshua N. Arkadie, Israel A. Magalon, Mathew L. Malagon, Nadia M. Malagon, Oceana L. Malagon, and Noah N. Malagon.

A proud graduate of Highlands High School, Jeannette went on to touch the lives of countless students as a dedicated substitute teacher. She poured her heart into her work, guiding her students with patience and kindness, and leaving an indelible mark on the future through her commitment to education.

Jeannette's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her life. She lived her beliefs through her actions, embodying the love and grace taught in the scriptures. Her loving nature was evident to all who knew her, and her generosity knew no bounds. She gave freely of herself, always ready to support and uplift those around her.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Jeannette will remember her as a woman of great strength and compassion. Her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire those she has left behind.
