Jeannette A. Cyr Nadeau
March 28, 1941 – October 17, 2025
Jeannette Nadeau, age 84, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, at St. Joseph's Memory Care Facility. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and beloved educator, Jeannette's life was a radiant example of love, generosity, and grace.
For 62 years she shared a deep enduring partnership with her husband Louis. Together they raised two children, Phil and Karen, and were blessed with four grandchildren: Zachary, Anna, Ian and Lucas – each of whom brought her immense joy.
Jeannette dedicated 33 years to teaching grade school in Allagash, on Market Street in Fort Kent and at Pleasant Street Elementary. Her classroom was a place of warmth and encouragement, where countless young lives were shaped by her wisdom and care.
Beyond her career, Jeannette found joy in life's simple pleasures: cooking meals and baking deserts for her family, walking with friends through the changing seasons, and telling stories that made everyone feel at home. Her laughter, kindness and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Funeral services will be held at St. Louis Parish on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 10:00 am. All who knew and loved Jeannette are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched – in every student she taught, every friend she cherished, and family member she adored.
