Jeannette M. Zobrist, 77, of Highland, IL, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at her residence in Highland, IL.
She was born on February 12, 1948, in Highland, IL, to James and Bertha (nee Schmitt) Reidelberger. On June 17, 1967, she married Terry Zobrist at St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL.
Jeannette was a former volunteer at Make a Wish Foundation. She enjoyed sewing, going to all her grandchildren’s activities, and attending Western Illinois football games for her grandson. Jeanette also loved going out to eat, following her husband playing softball, and spending time with her great grandchildren. Her greatest joy was her family, and she will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bertha Reidelberger; brothers, Terry Reidelberger and Tom Reidelberger.
Jeannette is survived by her husband, Terry Zobrist, Highland, IL; children, Alan (Kimberly) Zobrist, East Alton, IL, Steve (Barb) Zobrist, Troy, IL, Lisa Zobrist, Highland, IL, Brian “Herb” (Jené) Zobrist, Highland, IL, Scott “Fred” (Robin) Zobrist, Bethalto, IL, and Lori (Justin) Whitmore, Highland, IL; grandchildren, Anna (Kris) Aldrich, Matt (Becca) Zobrist, Chris (significant other, Mira) Zobrist, Maya Zobrist, Erin Zobrist, and Evan Zobrist; great grandchildren, Reilly Zobrist, Maxine Zobrist, Maeven Zobrist, Myles Zobrist, and one on the way; sister, Barb (Ed) Kovach, Avon Lake, OH; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation.
