Funeral services for Jeannie Baker will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Last Chance Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery of Okemah.Jeannie Sue Baker was born August 22, 1952 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Harold and Hazel (Turner) Adams. She died, Thursday, March 27, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 72.Jeannie was a longtime resident of Okemah and a graduate of Kellyville High School. She later went on to receive her L.P.N. certification from West Watkins Vo-Tech in Wetumka. Jeannie and Gerald Wayne Baker were married July 2, 1970 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Jeannie worked for more than 30 years as a nurse. She enjoyed going shopping and spending time with her family. She especially loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her dog, Max.Survivors include her husband, Gerald of Collinsville, Oklahoma; her daughter, Kim Prater and husband Robert of Ada; her son, Jerry Baker and wife Rachel of Owasso; one sister, Sandy Keiffer and husband Tim of Kellyville; 5 grandchildren, Kiersten Madron, Christian Baker, Skylar Burns, Levi Prater and Ashton Baker and five great-grandchildren, Casen, Montana, Kendall, Landri and Keaton.Serving as active pallbearers will be Levi Prater, Colton Madron, Christian Baker, Anthony Burns, Ashton Baker and Jon Keiffer.Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma, and officiated by Pastor Bo Gibbs.Online condolences may be made at www.ParksBrothersFuneralHome.com.
