Jeannie "Jean" Banfield

Jeannie "Jean" Banfield, 96, of Latonia, KY, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. She was owner operator of Jeannie's Tavern in Latonia, KY, for over 65 years. Jean lived in Latonia, KY, for her entire life and was one of fifteen children. She dedicated her life to her home, business, and family. Jean enjoyed canning fruits, vegetables, and tending to her garden. She was preceded in death by her parents: Roscoe and Velma Morrow and husband: Earl and several siblings. Jean is survived by her sons: Rick (April) Cheesman and Ronnie (Janet Tackett) Cheesman; step-son: Steve (Sandy) Banfield; several siblings; 3 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment will follow at Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 is serving the family.
