Jeannie "Jeanne" Jo Carlile, 78, passed away on September 28, 2025 after a lengthy illness, at LaBell of Alton.

Jeanne was born January 27, 1947 in Cottonwood, ID, the daughter of Joe W. and Jeanetta S. (Brown) Testerman.

Jeanne loved the outdoors, fishing and camping especially. She was a great lover of animals. She enjoyed the Philadelphia Eagles. One of her favorite places on earth was Lee's Ferry in Marble Canyon, AZ. She lived all over the western side of the United States. She spoke a lot over the last year about wanting to go climb trees as she did when she was younger, now she can.

Jeanne is survived by her four daughers, Laurie Hass of Evening Shade, AR, Cherie (Kenny) Baughn of Evening Shade, AR, Carrie (Brian) Stawar of Bunker Hill, and Jamie Tucker of Paragould, AR; 19 grandchildren, Daniel (Ashley) Lee of Moco, AR, Rebecca (Jonathan) Goodson of Salem, AR, Samantha (Jon) Hodges of Cave City, AR, twins, Britnie and Allen Duncan of Manassas, VA, Aaron Duncan of Alton, Rachal Frey of Horseshoe Bend, AR, CJ Slaughter of Dexter, MO, Aubrey (Chris) Jones of Maryville, Jacob Stawar of Royal Lakes, Adriana (Zach) Bramstedt of Petersburg, PA, Zack (Kathryn) Stawar of Bunker Hill, Christian (Bri) Stawar of Bunker Hill, Arianna (Swayde) Bailey of Batesville, AR, Ian Slaughter of Batesville, AR, and Joe Slaughter of Paragould, AR; and 21 great grandchildren.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Carlile; son, Mitchell Duncan; granddaughter, Kayla Lee; brother, Robert "Bobbie" Tegge; and sisters, Luella Tegge and Dorothy Tegge.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
